Opening Prayer
Lord, as we pause and watch this reflection, help us slow down enough to notice You. Open our hearts to see Your beauty and love in the valleys of our lives, and teach us to abide in You right where we are. Amen.
Don’t Miss the Elk in the Valley
This reflection grew out of a weekend in Estes Park, Colorado, where God gently reshaped what I thought the message would be. What began as a focus on climbing higher turned into a lesson about the beauty, provision, and community God gives us in the valley.
In this video, I share how Psalm 84:5–7 reframes hard seasons, why abiding in God’s love matters in low places, and how even the elk in the valley became part of God’s invitation to slow down and notice His presence. I hope it encourages you to see your own valley seasons as holy ground — places where strength, joy, and renewal quietly take root.
